Pipeline bundle of 3 product lines (8", 12", 14") protected by a 38” casing pipe running from PetroSA’s GTL plant to offshore SPM for export of petroleum products. All pipes were damaged by a ship’s anchor. The water depth at the damage location was approx 20m. IMPaC was awarded a contract for the repair of the pipelines.

Main contractor for design, fabrication and installation of underwater wet welding/clamp-on repair of three product pipelines and one large diameter carrier pipe.

Wet welding carried out by diving subcontractor Nordsee Taucher GmbH.
