Verification of engineering for transport & installation of jacket and topside

Accommodation platform for offshore wind farm ‚DanTysk‘ in water depth of 25 m (LAT) to accommodate 50 (max 60) persons.

The dimension of the topside is 35 x 35 x 20 m with an operational weight of approximately 2,500 t.

IMPaC has been contracted by Vattenfall to verify the transport & installation engineering for the jacket and topside including:

• Risk assessment for structural integrity for modified topside components
• Updated jacket on-bottom stability verification
• Updated topside verification due to new weight
• General platform layout (3D)
• Updated verification of grout filling in pile-sleeve connection
• Updated verification of new pile installation sequence

In another project IMPaC has prepared the design (conceptual, basic and detail) of the entire platform (refer list of Projects).

The design of the offshore platform (topside &
jacket) has been carried out according to latest BSH requirements (e.g. application of Eurocode regulations).
