Project Characteristics

The sea water cooling system for a petrochemical plant of the Mobin Utilities Complex has a total water quantity of 500,000 m³/h and pipeline diameter up to 3.0 m.

After endorsement of the basic design for offshore pipelines and facilities IMPaC was requested to prepare the detailed design of the entire cooling water system and weirs including equipment and material specifications. IMPaC carried out steady state and transient stress analysis.

Within this major project with an investment of approx. 400 million USD IMPaC prepared the construction tender as well as commissioning and testing procedures.
