Project Characteristics

The offshore wind farm DanTysk with 80 x 3.6 MW turbines is located in the North Sea 70 kilometers west of the island Sylt, in the German EEZ at the border to Denmark, in water depths of 21 m - 32 m.

The Joint Venture Partners are Vattenfall (51%) and Stadtwerke München (49%), whereas Vattenfall is responsible for construction and operation.

WTM Engineers has partnered with IMPaC to support WTM Engineers in the offshore grouting inspection process of the monopile foundation installation. IMPaC is conducting the final take-over inspection of the foundation for the operator. In addition, pre-grouting inspections such as the inspection of the monopile cleaning process and other preparatory works are carried out. For more information go to www.dantysk.com.
